"We were really impressed by Jamie from the outset - we liked the style of the gallery pictures on the website - striking, personal, very different to "generic" wedding photos of which we saw a fair few. Working with Jamie has been a pleasure, he is friendly, extremely responsive and helpful, but also he exudes experience and calm - you know you are working with a real professional who has a real enthusiasm and flair but is flexible and not going to get stressed about particular details or "his" way of doing things. Also in comparison to other photographers we felt the pricing was very clear - we knew exactly what we were going to get and didn't have to worry too much about precise timings and how long the "meter" would be running for on the day.
Meeting in advance was incredibly helpful, again we worked alongside Jamie to build a very clear picture of what would happen on the day and he really listened to what we wanted and took a lead from us about how we wanted our day to be - above all Ellie and I wanted our wedding to be very friendly, filled with lots of fun and personal touches and the pictures Jamie took really captured the spirit of our amazing day and have given us some incredible images to remember it with, even if (one day) the memories start to get hazy!
Everyone has commented on how beautiful the photos are - Jamie worked incredibly hard on the day and yet so many people hardly noticed him - he is incredibly talented at capturing special moments and images without being intrusive or "in your face" - his background in sports photography maybe. Since our wedding day we've met with Jamie again to put together our wedding book - we can't wait to see it as we know it will be something special which we will treasure forever."

"jmc-weddings are incredible. Right from the initial phone call I got a feeling straight away that this was the company to go with.
I then met Jamie and he showed me his beautiful portfolio and explained to me the different packages - we went for the digital one as I wanted to create my own wedding album. Their prices were reasonable for what we would be getting, 400 Hi resolution photos on disk and two photographers all day to capture everything (including both the bride and groom getting ready) and I have yet to find a company that would offer me just a digital package with so many photos.
After many nights sitting discussing the type and style of photos I wanted for the big day (Jamie was very patient) we finally decided on all the must have shots and artistic ones.
On the day of the wedding Jamie was there bright and early, ready to catch all the drama, his colleague was with my husband-to-be taking some brilliant shots of the boys having a few last minute drinks before heading off to the church.
Jamie was fantastic and even when I had my mini break down over my make up he quickly made an exit and went to take some stunning pics of the dress and car giving me the space I needed to calm down. Very professional!
During the ceremony and reception JMC were very discreet always in the background catching all the important moments without getting in the way and without bothering the guests or holding up the day, they truly were the very best professional photographers and everybody complimented me on how well the blended into the day.
We left directly for honeymoon the next day and two weeks later when we returned I got an email from Jamie saying my photos were now ready, lets meet up to take a look at them.
My wedding photos blew my mind, they were exquisite and I am still getting compliments today, Jamie managed to capture every tiny detail every little moment and immortalised them for me. My wedding album truly is a work of art.
